This album has a seriously cool groove & vibe. Rudy doesn't as much drive, even though he's up front in the mix, as direct a first class group of musicians down a joyous road. I've listened to this at least 12 times so far, finding something new each time. So Freakin' Worth It!

I've always been on the fence about Elder. The musicianship was always there but it never clicked. Omens and Innate Passage have certainly changed that.

Fantastic improv-heavy electric jazz. Great writing, amazing playing, huge dynamic/emotional range from pastoral to properly out. Ruth Goller proving once again that she's one of the most imaginative and recognisable bassists working in the UK.
